The owner, manager, waiter, AND chef for his own business— Almond Patisserie. He’s clumsy and, frankly, rather untalented, but he does always try his best despite his awful large amount of failures. He made his own uniform and is rather frugal. He keeps his beret on him at all times.His name (pronounced as “dah-koiz”) and character are inspired by the Dacquoise, an almond cake, hence why his logo and character item is an almond.

Merin

Merin is a girl born from an angel food cake. (Made by Daccoise and Mortis!) She is Almond Patisserie’s head decorator and loves piping bags and frosting. She knows little about the human world, so she’s always seeking to find out more. She’s a sweet girl, but hates not being taken seriously. She gets snappy sometimes, but truly means the best. She keeps Daccoise in check and tries her best to prevent any accidents occurring around him. Daccoise took her in, so she works alongside him as his only employee.
Her name is inspired by the meringue dessert!

A monopitch Japanese VCV bank recorded with Merin's sweetness in mind, but in a softer tone. Oto is similar. Also has multiple endings and 3 different breath sounds.
